In spite of the fact that I remember having liked the popular, effective & affordable products previously, it's been years since I've used a Neutrogena body product but when I recently met with the PR, I was reintroduced to the range. I've recently been trialling the Neutrogena Visibly Renew Elasti-Boost Body Balm.
The packaging reflects the affordable price tag and it's unlikely that it would appeal to me if I saw it on a shop shelf. Thanks to the focus on collagen/ elasti-boosting properties, it appears to be targeted at those concerned about ageing skin which isn't top of my concerns just yet. I'm not a fan of tub presentations but accept that they tend to be the norm when it comes to rich body moisturisers.
Neutrogena Visibly Renew Elasti-Boost Body Balm has a rich texture. It's akin to a cream but has the smoothness of a balm (although it's not solid). It has a fresh, inoffensive scent which I didn't notice on my skin following application and I appreciated this as it meant that it didn't interfere with other fragrance.
I was very impressed at how quickly & easily Neutrogena Visibly Renew Elasti-Boost Body Balm was absorbed, without leaving a greasy residue. Following use, my skin was left feeling hydrated and velvety smooth (I was unsurprised to note the inclusion of silicones in the ingredients). What's more, my skin felt wonderfully conditioned and nourished for hours afterwards.
At just £4.99 for 200ml, I'd highly recommend Neutrogena Visibly Renew Elasti-Boost Body Balm.
