Speed Review: Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter review

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter

For affordable bodycare, in my opinion, it's hard to beat Soap & Glory and I've recently been reaching for The Righteous Butter from the brand.

The Righteous Butter is described as an award winning body butter with softening shea butter and aloe vera.

In terms of packaging, the pink tub with retro imagery and fun, quirky descriptions is on brand. Regular readers will be unsurprised to hear that I wasn't a fan of the tub packaging as I find such presentation to be messy and unhygienic.

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter

The Righteous Butter has a very rich, cream texture and whilst it's not akin to a balm (as some body butters can be), a little goes a long way meaning that the generously sized 300ml tub will last a long time. I was impressed at how easily absorbed the body butter was.

The Righteous Butter has the distinctive Original Pink Soap & Glory scent, which I personally like although I did find that it lingered and as it's quite a strong fragrance, interfered with other scent. For this reason, I tended to use The Righteous Butter at night, before bed.

Following use, my skin was left feeling soft, smooth and hydrated but not greasy. At £10 for 300ml, I'd recommend The Righteous Butter as an affordable way to nourish and pamper skin.
